iXGC is a global ten-year private sector and civil society initiative designed to accelerate citizen-centred digital transformation worldwide.

iXGC WORLD is the global track — bringing the world’s most significant capital allocators, tech platforms, DFIs, policy leaders, and delivery operators into one connected programme.

The initiative will launch in June in South Africa in Cape Town — with the first edition anchored in South Africa’s digital economy priorities — and with dedicated South Africa, Africa, and Global (iXGC WORLD) tracks running concurrently.

This means participants engage global, African and South African leaders, budget holders, technology providers, investors and implementers — within one integrated platform.

The South African track will be guided by key national and continental frameworks including the SA ICT White Paper (2014), the Presidential 4IR Commission, the SA Digital Economy Masterplan and Africa’s digital transformation goals — ensuring that iXGC measures progress, ensures accountability and underwrites inclusive growth.

iXGC convenes government leaders, global tech firms, innovators, investors, multilaterals, DFIs, infrastructure operators, and communities — through year-round programming and an always-on digital platform that tracks commitments, capital, and delivery.

iXGC is where the world’s digital budgets, capital, technology and delivery partners converge to accelerate universal connectivity and essential digital service delivery — starting with South Africa as our first Global Host.
